Born in Paris (France) 1963, of Tunisian origin. Immigrated to Israel at the age of six. Lives and Works in Tel-Aviv. Since 2000, his paintings have been exhibited to critical acclaim. He has held numerous solo shows in important museums. Twice recipient of the Ministry of Culture for established artist award, Israel (2004, 2013) and laurel of the Minister of Culture award for Zionist creation, of 2015. Works by Bokobza are in the permanent collection of The Israel Museum in Jerusalem, The Tel-Aviv Museum of Art, The Knesset Parliament in Jerusalem, The Smithsonian Museum in Washington DC and private collections across the globe.
