Hilla Toony Navok is an artist born and based in Tel Aviv who works in drawing, sculpture, and video art, and teaches sculpture at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design and Shenkar College. Navok’s works reveal abstract and lyric qualities in everyday local environments and in familiar materials. Navok frequently has exhibited in numerous spaces both in Israel and abroad. In 2022, she presented the exhibition "Through the Window" at the Tel Aviv Museum. Her permanent sculptures are located at the “Navon” train station in Jerusalem and on "Al Parashat Derakhim" Road in Tel Aviv. Navok has won several awards, including the Rappaport Prize for a Promising Artist from the Tel Aviv Museum of Art (2020), the Beatrice Kolliner Young Artist Prize (2019) from the Israel Museum, the Discount Prize (2020), the Ministry of Culture Prize (2019), and the Artport Artist Residency Grant (2015). In 2018, she co-authored the book "If what's curving inside you right now is Pilates, then that's where you should focus on” with writer Yonatan Raz Portugali and is a partner at the publishing house "Poraz et Navok."
