Marina Kotlyar, born in 1971 in the USSR, currently resides and creates in Tel Aviv, Israel. Marina graduated of the Gottesman Etching Center (2022), graduate of "HaKolel" Studio of Contemporary art (2019), graduate of the Master Class program at "HaTachana Studio" (2011), graduate of the Visual Communication Department, Avni Institute (1995), Architectural studies at Bezalel Academy, Jerusalem (1990-1993) and at the Academy of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg (1987-1990). Her preferred medium is oil on various surfaces such as canvas and wood, exploring diverse techniques and materials including acrylics, industrial and metallic paints, silver and gold leaf, collages, and more. In recent years, she has delved into various printmaking techniques. Marina Kotlyar has showcased her works in solo exhibitions such as "Between Us" (2020) at Tribal Art Gallery, Tel Aviv, and "Waking from your Image" (2020) at Artist House, Rishon LeZion. Additionally, she has participated in various group exhibitions. Her works are found in private collections worldwide.
